the only real "metal" songs are tracks 4, 5 and 6... rest are kind of alt-rock-y

well, number one: in your opinion, w/e. number two: the lead vocalist always sounds euphonious and there is so much jazz in here. calling it metal is kind of dumb IMO

Well I was just trying to be a bit of a buzzkill on my Muse comment, it's actually a decent album. And there may be some jazz influence here, but it would hardly qualify as jazz... Steely Dan and Billy Joel are lots more jazzy. It's overwhelmingly heavy metal
