Time to Pretend still bangs like hell [2]

This still holds up. Surprised I haven't rated it. Wish they could have made something this good afterward, but that was never going to happen.

congratulations is actually more consistent than this, like a consistent 3, but this has much much better moments

I actually like every track here, some more than the singles. Pieces of What rules so hard. I didn't listen to Congratulations a whole lot because it only had one or two songs that stood out to me.

Only ever heard the singles but they're great

Yeah, no. No? No, yeah!

I only remember the title track and I Found a Whistle being good on Congratulations. It's probably better than I give it credit for, but this is something else.

Yeah, this really sucks to be honest. One of those albums you just don't plan on ever returning to... unless I decide that mediocre, one-dimensional music is my thing. It's absurdly boring.

I like Kids I guess, not much else here worth re listening to

Gross.
Oh, the song.
I actually listened to this front to back last week just to revisit it. It has some stuff I really like, but overall it was more plain than I remembered. It still has some great songs though like Time to Pretend, Weekend Wars, Youth, Electric Feel, Kids, Pieces of What which is over half of the album. Probably a 3.5 for me even after all these years.
