@Trebor yeah I was never into music before mid 2000's post hardcore and. ... I guess. .. scene music? I don't know what to call it, but before that I just listened to what ever my local alt rock station wanted me to.



I honestly had no idea what I was hearing. I remember the friend who showed me the song actually said "yeah that double base" and I imagined a dOuble neck base guitar. Swear to god.

there is so much i hate about this band but i'll be damned if the main riff on the title track isn't one of the best things that happened in 2003

the drumming on this (especially Lost Symphonies) is just next level! The drum sound is spot-on

It has to be "heavenly life should be so easy".. it gets transcribed wrong as "heaven knows it should be so easy". I am definitely not hearing that

Oh yeah and the vocal melodies are what makes this album for me in particular. I honestly wish it was less heavy though. Saosin's unwillingness to retire some of the metallic side is kind of a drag
