Honestly, I dug the fuck out of this for years when this came out. Exile was a clear step up in songwriting and variation. I was lukewarm on Era for a bit, but really like most of it now. S/T has a couple songs I like- pretty okay. Endless War was pretty shit, in my opinion- I feel like the bonus tracks were the best part about it. The new song is fucking weak ass garbage shit 1.5/5.
Really as they progress, regardless of how much I like all their new material, it makes me realize that this album as a whole is kind of weak and the amount of bands that did the exact same thing kind of puts a damper on this after all these years. However, this album is indisputably the heaviest these guys will ever be and it will always hold a little place in my heart.
