what no heroes is far from their best song, is just a mediocre rehash of drop out/eagles become vultures

I can't give this album anywhere near a 5. I'm sorry. That's probably treason...
But I have my reasons. The vocals... Jesus, they deter me from really liking it at all. The instruments are great. They're awesome, in fact. But Jacob Bannon's voice is just..... Gah. Ear-shattering. I can't stand it for some reason.

Heh, that's funny...when I gave a friend "Heaven in Her Arms" to listen to, they said that it was good and all, but they preferred screaming that "didn't sound like the vocalist was actually in pain O_o"

Which is a near-perfect description. Though it didn't really come across to me like that...Vikernes' vocals are the definition of tortured.
