the generic breakdowns, the raspy highs and guttural lows in the vocals, the melodic death metal rip off riffs. Its basically exactly like As Blood Runs Black except not as fast or interesting.

This isn't typical death metal, this is deathcore. Deathcore and hardcore aren't the same thing.

ok pal we need to get genres right here. Deathcore is a mix of metalcore and death metal. Metalcore is a mix of metal and hardcore. This therefore would suggest the roots in hardcore are far more limited than that of a metalcore band. So dont get arsey about genres, the things i mentioned are prevelant in metalcore and well breakdowns were predominantly taken from hardcore.
I think you might the one of the only people who consider this as death metal.

well you obviously don't know about death metal or deathcore because they are quite different genres really. Its like comparing Eternal Lord to Cannibal Corpse, you might as well be comparing any old shit to anything. If these are death metal then so are All Shall Perish, As Blood Runs Black, Eternal Lord, Annotations of An Autopsy and they quite simply are not and apart from you no one with a given level of sanity would call these death metal bands. Look at true death metal bands such as Nile and compare that to this and if you still think this is 'average death metal' then you should probably find your local asylum.
