ive seen them live a few times and tommy is right on with his vocals. almost every decently recorded album these days uses pitch correction in their recordings. Tommy is right on live and i really enjoyed this record. Its not for everyone.

This reviewer is a biased moron that has no business doing a between the buried and me review based on the fact that one of his favorite bands is Nine Inch Nails and Dream theater is probably the most metal thing he's ever fucking heard. I hate retards who try to make up something in order to back up a point. Tommy Rogers does not use autotune except for in Sun of Nothing in one tiny part. Plus the only reason he used it was to add a different feel during that part. This reviewer will forever go down in my book as an idiot who doesn't know what the fuck he's talking about. Every song flows perfectly together. And since when was a band not aloud to show off their knowledge and appreciation of other genres of music. I looked at the reviewers profile and all he likes is those generic bands that everyone else knows and thinks it's cool to like. I have listened to all of those bands and most of them are uninteresting and lack dynamics, good lyrics, good vocals, interesting drums, good bass lines. The only reason he did this review was to piss people off and to bash a band that he doesn't know that well so he can feel better about his pathetic life and the fact that his family doesn't accept him cuz his roomate pounds him in the ass at night

I really liked this at first, it was a 4, now its a 2, i agree with you I think it's too pretentious and about outdoing themselves, not making technical and catchy music.

The part where the "closed-off circle" section reaches its climax till end will probably always be one of my favorite, if not the best stretch of music I've heard in any genre.
