Whatevzzz. Nu metal is a perfectly legitimate genre when executed correctly. As it is here.

SOAD s/t is the best outta the bunch tbh, but wouldn't even consider that nu-metal.

I feel like people only don't consider this and SOAD's self titled nu metal because they are conditioned to believe that all nu metal is shit. I just think that all genres can have quality despite their peers that insist to drag them down.

Regardless of genre, the late 90's - early 00's era was hugely influential toward the current generation of metal...for better or for worse.

It had its influence in deathcore, but it was also extremely influential in mathcore.

I agree that nu-metal definitely contains some good bands, but for every good one, theres another Papa Roach or something that drags it down.

Always thought One Minute Silence was a bit under the radar in the Nu metal genre. Never felt these guys were NU

I feel the nu metal in this, but there's a shitload of other things in it too.

I never really considered this to be nu metal myself. But I dont really acknowledge all these stupid little sub-genres anyways.

This and Maximum the Hormone's Buiikikaesu made Nu-Metal worth it, so many incredible things about this album. I'll never tire of it.

I had to bump my rating after listening through this last night. I listened to the follow up again though and damn, it's shittier than I remember. Everything is oversimplified probably for the sake of getting bigger

I dig The End of All Things to come actually, but it's not on this level. Everything else this band has done though.

I like it too but it doesn't have shit on this album. I sat through both records while reading along with the lyrics and focusing on the instrumentals and it's just two different bands
