Mind-blowing. This album is fantastic. Although differnent, I think the intro is beautiful. And the outro, White Walls, epicccc.

I love this album. Wholly the album brings the heaviest i can listen to. I can't stand black metal/ other death metal. Prog is good for me

Yeah either this or the Alchemy Index Pt 1 is my album of the year. I'm still deciding.

Truly mind-blowing, not at all what I expected of these guys, and that's why I love this band so much.

the bottom line is this: if you arent giving this album at least a 4, you just dont get it. they're not my favorite band, i have no reason to come on here and stick up for them. the simple fact is that this album is pure genius from beginning to end. i found it highly unlikely that they would outdo Alaska, an amazing album, and then they did, with Colors. BTBAM is truly bringing metal to great new places.

i agree completely. the album flows so well, and the songs are all completely mind blowing. oh and the jazz breakdowns are tight!

The fact that Alaska has a higher rating than this album is a travesty.

Not really, apart from the flow and tightness Alaska is easily the same or better than this album.

Alaska has more ratings, that could be a factor.

Question - why did they name the album Colors?

I prefer some of the songs on Alaska. I am surprised this doesn't have a higher average rating, considering the sheer number of classic soundoffs that are produced every day.

The only songs on Alaska that can really contend with this album are All Bodies, Selkies and Backwards Marathon.

Yeah Ants of the Sky is the only good song on here, and even then, I can hardly listen to it because of the retarded bluegrass bridge.

lol

At least it shows their diversity. My favourite Between the Buried and Me songs are still on other albums though.

Diversity doesn't mean shit for me really when it's that contrived and just outwardly terrible.

Listened to Alaska today, it had been a while. Still undecided which one I like more.
