Love coming back to this every once in a while. The long passages and riffs sound dark and grating.

good album but really wish they would do something other than memphis as a closer live. It's not THAT great of a tune. They've got plenty better. Though it was cool to see them do it with Scogin a few years ago.

Memphis defined the sound of like a billion shitty Christian metalcore bands for roughly a decade what are they going to do, NOT close with it?

i think it is pretty cool that they still include multiple songs from this album in their sets despite having zero remaining members from this era

I typically skip Memphis these days but that's probably because every miniscule detail of that song is etched into my brain so I'm burned out on it

"@Alex yea those early albums got shit on a lot, Sput users were a lot more, uh, slow back then and Norma Jean and The Chariot were both shit on a lot because of their associations with more “scene” bands at the time. Wrongdoers and Long Live both being really strong albums kinda made people reevaluate their works on the whole and I think if you could do a recount ofthe ratings for the old stuff they’d be higher"
Pretty much. A lot of stereotypical metal heads back in the day

"Wrongdoers and Long Live both being really strong albums kinda made people reevaluate their works on the whole"
actually more about those people being so long gone from the site than anything else imo, but agreed about those records deserving so much more, release Redemeer with the current userbase and watch it get a 3.9 avg at least
