i thought this was a lame patchwork album for most of my teens and then something clicked, not sure what exactly
it's just so flowy and playful, has easily some of the best beats nujabes ever put to record and even sees him experimenting with house music near the end (summer gypsy). mega inspired collection of tunes...
imo for the most part the rap features on his music have always felt like a bit of an afterthought so that doesn't really separate this from his other work for me

It’s funny I’ve seen a lot of people describe this as an instrumental album when half the time it literally isn’t.. goes to show how forgettable the bars are. But I get it, the instrumentals are what we are all here for.
My fav tracks are letter for Yokosuka, next view and F.I.L.O. with an overall preference for songs with no words
