This album showed Pantera were'nt messing around one bit and succesfully broke through all boundaries of how aggresive music could sound at the time.Sure Phil's antimelodic vocals may not be everyone's cup of tea,but they're a huge adrenaline rush all the same. Even the slow tracks with singing show some major balls with their apocalyptic breakdown sections.Not everything about the album is completely similiar.I think each song takes on a charachteristic of it's own.You just have to listen close and be open minded to what you're hearing.
