Well, I haven't liked anything I have heard from him as a solo act or with White Stripes, but I didn't mind what I heard of the new one.
I mean, it's like a 3, or a high 2.5, so I didn't find it too crazy appealing.

Yeah... I never have been fond of his work except for that Seven Nation Army song, so that's why I was surprised.
Speaking of albums that have nothing to do with this thread, I finally got a hold of that Trophies album by Apollo and OC that you suggested to me a while back, and I really likes it.

One of the demos was posted a few months back. The songs aren't bad but they definitely aren't up to par with this and Mandala. The new album so far sounds like it's going to be the bridge between Resignation and this record

^ Completely agree, I thought that as soon as I heard 'Intro', made me think of the intro tracks on Act I and III. Really like this, wish I could see them play together!
