Jamming this and The Earth Will Shake still gets me pumped and gives me the chills, even after hearing this album about 50 times. Every time it gets me. Definitely a top 5 Thrice song.

Same with For Miles. Both songs are just absolute bangers. I would say the Earth-Atlantic-For Miles section is the centerpiece of the album. Maybe Of Dust-Stand and Feel-Red Sky as well, but I’ve never loved Stand. Like a 3.5 for me.

Yeah I know it’s generally a really beloved song with fans, but some of the songs just overpower it for me. Love the last 30-60 seconds though! One of the best moments on the album.
