Well I would say start off with some of the more mainstream black metal bands like Cradle of Filth, Dimmu Borgir, Graveworm, and Old Man's Child. If you like those then I would say go on to bands like Emperor, Darkthrone, Ulver, Burzum, Satyricon, Immortal, Gorgoroth, and Borknagar.

Highly agreed. This album to me just sounds like they’re copying every other black metal band before them. They definitely got better with each album afterwards.
