I've only recently gotten past my hatred for Mustaine and, as a consequence, have only heard Rust In Peace and United Abominations. Is anything else worse looking into?

Don't make the same mistake I did Phantom. Stay away from Countdown.

Well by the looks of your comments/ratings I would say that you're a pretty big Megadeth fanboy, so of course you think it's awesome. This Message Edited On 12.16.08

I'm just sticking with getting Peace Sells for now. Don't think I could take too much of Dave Mustaine.

More often it's a little behind Rust In Peace for me, but barely.

I can't understand how this is comparable to Rust in Peace but whatever.

Ok so I just got this (Im slowly getting into Megadeth.) Ive had Rust and Killing is.. and I bought the new versions. Theeeen, I did some research and saw that the new 2004 remasters are frowned upon. Should I go and download the original? Hey, I actually bought this so I dont feel bad downloading.

Whats the beef with the new versions? Any and all help would be appreciated!

^ No the new versions are perfectly fine its just that the bonus tracks aren't that great, mostly demos.
This album is fantastic, a real milestone in the advancement of Thrash metal.
