I listened to this the other day and was still extremely impressed by it. Anyone checked this out or listened to this lately?

I dont know why but i enjoyed this cd before i lost my 60 cd case.Ill probaly burn it.Beyond the hourglass , this is home,and masques and martars are my favorites.

My favorites have to be "The Denouement," "We Are Always Searching" and "Pretty People Never Lie, Vampires Never Really Die." I can't believe you didn't mention any of those in your review...the re-recorded versions of the latter two show so much improvement from the EP.

However, the review was thorough and enjoyable. I Am Ghost is one of my favorites.

I am very fascinated with this band. They are like someone threw a lot of the generic "dark" bands that are a dime a dozen these days into a pot, sprinkled in a bit or originality and out came I Am Ghost. Also they have cool song titles, I am a sucker for cool song titles. My favorite song title this week is "Conversation With Dr.Seussicide."

Damn, I wish I didn't lose this album. I guess i'll rebuy it.This Message Edited On 05.27.08

^^^ Wish I saw that. Regardless got it back. It's a shame Kerith left because she had a great voice and the violin added a nice effect, especially her solo on Beyond The Hourglass was terrific. The new song reminds me a bit of Atreyy unfortunately. I'll still check it out with low expectations.

It's frustrating. This albums shows that the band clearly had talent and potential, and that they could have possibly made a better album, but then it breaks for stupid reasons and what could have been is lost.

Well, watch the new Underworld flick then. It's like Twilight but much more fucking manlier. Death and violence, epic battles, and hot goth women.
