I don't have AIM, and my internet is probably too slow for that
Aw, well, wait 'til the site reboots I guess.

Alrighty, this is their second best piece of work right after The Earth Is Not A Cold Dead Place, but I have yet to heard Those Who Tell The Truth...
Could've been longer, though.

I think that if it were to go on longer, it would've ruined it...well, certain tracks...

I'm going to give this another chance. I'll listen to all of it tomorrow.
Two Headed Boy: "The concept with which the band went into recording the album was to write, compose, and record a new, original song a day for eight consecutive days, with no previously written material allowed to be used. If that does not seem to be the premise for the most rushed album in history, no album deserves that title."
That's why they weren't longer. Most likely.

Adding to that, they had serious vehicle trouble, with financial woes to boot.
That may or may not have been a factor, but it's worth noting.

I want to love this album, but the songs just don't build up into what I consider "eits level". So it's a 3.5 for this band, but a 4 or 4.5 for most other bands.

I was rather disappointed there were no grand crescendos like on The Earth is Not... Day 6 is very good thoughThis Message Edited On 04.22.07

I love this album, much more than The Earth is Not...
That one just annoyed me.

This album is nothing short of superb for me. A very simplistic approach for EITS and it works beautifully. Probably the most accessible album because you get EITS in a short but sweet package. Such power and depth for a very quick playing post-rock album. Almost a classic in my opinion... almost.

Why is this so overlooked?
