this is deff. not a step up from art damage but thats just my opinion i like technical work. i really dont know what to think of this album yet. some songs are very unimpressive like drowning the old hag, i cant stand his now scene like scream. and the synth stuff gets kind of boring so im gonna go with a three.

I love how this band changes with the fads, they should've stuck with their post-core sound of their first album instead of trying to emulate metal/mathcore with Art Damage, and now that Portugal. The Man is rising in populatity, they try to sound closer to said band.

thats what i dislike about them. they found their place with art damage and then they had to go and make this.

I don't care about comparing. I rate this album based on how much I like it and it alone, not how it sounds compared to their other albums.

i think FBTMOF new cd is awesome. people who dont like their new cd's only like thousands of breakdown in one song. new sounds totally awesome. fuck breakdown.

I don't care for this album, and I don't care for breakdowns much.

ok...so ive listened to this album like five times now and i found a liking in a few of the songs. expecially as a result of signals being crossed. but i still stick by my rating.

Eh i can't really see how you don't love this album. Every song has that orgasmic moment. Oh well, to each his own :-/

amazing album, Fearbefore's best so far i do agreed! And this cd got nothing techno at all. I guess it's the electro parts that may turn off some people.

Also... this really doesnt sound much like portugal. the man at all. Granted, this may have an 'indie' feel at times, but this seems far more unique and experimental the what *the man* has put out.

5 is alittle high for this album. They were alot better live then on disk, which is a good thing cause most bands suck live these days
