I have been listening to this album quite a lot recently.
Certainly is a punishing album and well worth checking out.

yeah, I agree. This album is pretty brutal, but I think it lacks a little bit of the diversity that The most brutal bands out there have. Otherwise, great album.

I find it the perfect balance of Death Metal and Hardcore. The breakdowns fit, and the guitars are amazing, but the drumming is what stands out, man he is good. This album gets better and better after every listen.

But I don't listen to Death Metal for breakdowns. I mean, don't get me wrong, I love my metalcore, and the occasional Death Metal band with breakdowns is fresh, but now that most of the new "Death Metal" bands are using breakdowns, it just isn't as effective. This is one of the bands that I think can pull of that sound without sounding weak.

best vocals ive ever heard. not a big fan on pig squeels but a REALLY brootal album.i suggest everyone to put it on. youll need a neck brace in the morning.the headbanging wont stop :D

Speaking of pig squeels, go listen to "Promises" and just about 30 seconds to the end of the song, he does a long 5-second squeel...it's AWESOME.

You might wanna try a band called "Burning Skies", they're really good from what I've heard but they've been underground up until now. They feature famous members from other bands, but im not so sure. You can try to look for their album "Desolation" This Message Edited On 06.07.07
