Yeah, song's nice. China Girl and Let's Dance are also good.

a lot of cliches exist for good reason mena

I think this is the underrated piece in the Bowie collection... while obviously being no masterpiece it has Modern Love and Dance and China Girl (yes it is better in the Iggy Pop-Version but this is also just beautiful) which make up for three top songs. It was also a huge change into more dancey-music and has just like so many other Bowie albums this touch of a renewal. His last really great renewal!
Very close to 4,5 in my list!

did you like the next day?

I liked it! Easily his best effort since "Lets Dance". Maybe like a 3,5 because there are also some mediocre songs on it. Though at the better moments of the album one can get in touch on that album about why one actually is in love with Bowie! What is really special about him! It was not like that on Heathen or Earthling and the gigantic crap from the mid80ies, early 90ies i cant even name.
