on first few listens this is pretty unbearably boring

i really like 'jesus' though

they have some great songs here and there but i can't sit through any of their albums

i really love their first album (but it became way more interesting when i started doing research on them and the whole nyc underground scene and stuff. it was just a lot of fun and made me appreciate the album more)

their second album is pretty good but tracks 2, 3, and 4 kind of arent that good. 1 5 and 6 rule

and this really seems pretty boring but the penultimate track is very interesting and the last song is cute

after hours is so sweet

yeah altho murder mystery can get tiring

but 'after hours' [despite people constantly comparing it to kimya dawson/juno shit] is just so amazingly cute and comforting and everything like that

i also like 'jesus' a lot and 'candy says' is pretty good but other than that i think this record is sorta boring

idk i've always loved this

don't think i've ever come close to disliking any vu album though

No, I have to disagree about Pale Blue Eyes, it should be at least 4.5

All songs on the album range from listenable to great pieces including:

- Candy Says - remind me of Sunday Morning

- What goes on - remind me of The Beatles during the first 20 seconds and did Kurt Cobain copy the way Lou Reed sang the line "Lady be gooooooood, do what yo shoooooould" in some Nirvana songs???, I am really puzzled! I love this song

- I'm set free - the elevation in the tempo and drum notes toward the chorus is great, I have always like the Pixies so this song really catches my attention

- The murder mystery - very catchy and hypnotizing tune! may sound a bit lengthy at some point
