Found this kind of lame. It'd be cool if they made the rest of the songs sound as exciting as those highlights sound, but it's a real chore to get through this because it's generic as hell.

I found this to be a pretty easy and fun listen but not particularly memorable outside of the singles that we've already heard. Ironically I found the title track to probably be the weakest song here. it gets surprisingly heavy at times which was nice

If by heavy you mean slow and boring then yeah it does get pretty fucking heavy. Charles really sounds a lot like Lars on this. A damn shame for one so talented.

The “songs” found here sound like Rob Zombie or the hacks from A7x wrote them.

i do get why some don't dig their last 3 but a lot of the criticism seems harsh. idk how this is worse than reheated boring mid tempo thrash like most old man thrash bands still going.

I actually quite liked Worship Music and Kings was pretty good too. I will speak for Mitch who also loved those albums. This album isn’t even close to being as good as those. The songs are seriously lacking dynamics and any sort of technicality. Will say that the guitar solos are excellent tho.

Album hits the exact same beats as new Coroner so if you liked that album I’d imagine you also like this.

i def don't go to anthrax for technicality lol. seems like an odd criteria. although persistance of time is prob my fav from them. i think edge of perfection and the t/t have plenty of interesting dynamics.
but i do agree that these solos are awesome. really didn't expect it. surprisingly memorable and full of emotion. got me wanting to go back and check out shadows fall.

damn man I can see this landing with mediocre reception but a 1.5 to 2 is pretty harsh. certainly stronger overall than the new megadave, nothing even close to as bad as "I don't care". I had this playing in my car on a six-hour drive across oklahoma and it definitely made the drive go by much quicker than expected, nothing in the album had me itching for the skip button.

It's easy to make an album better than the last deth, that's not really a point in this one's favor.

my point is if this a 2/5, then Megadeth 2026 and probably repentless must be in the negatives. every element of this album wallops every element of either of those albums, from vocals, production, originality, etc
