Family Funeral might be the best song they've ever written. Remarkable how consistent this band is

Core for people who like drinking Indian Pale Ales?
On a more serious note, I think it's related to this:

aah, interestingly the origins of the term aren't as derogatory as I had assumed - as someone who has ventured far beyond your typical 'bog standard' IPA (I would fall short of proclaiming myself a 'connoisseur'), not sure I totally buy the parallels as it undersells the potential discovery element (i.e. not necessarily always a 'go-to' for familiarity or comfort). If I really squint hard enough, I kinda see what they were going for, but it could so easily have been applied to other drinking staples imo.

regardless of all that I do like some IPAs and I do like this album, so although I'm inclined to believe this is merely a coincidence, it seems I fit the 'demographic'

I’m mostly being annoying but IPAcore is a funny term to use for hipster metal. Aiming to check this out over the weekend

This is a banger. I didn't get a chance to listen to it in full until yesterday.

After one spin I feel confident slapping a 4 on this, with expectations that it will probably go up with more listens.

IPAs rule when I'm not forced to drink them by virtue of the gas station or bar only having IPAs. I enjoy the illusion of choice.

Filthy album, a hell of a lot of fun. They're never gonna make another song as good as Tropical Beaches, though
