@kus
Do it, I legitimately had a great time listening to this.
@rogue
Oh I believe you but I find it hard to believe the majority of their fanbase atp arent maga adjacent. Monster Truck could’ve been played at the TPUSA halftime show. The casual misogyny found on half their songs is consistent with them too

Like Barricade is rapey as fuck and thats probably literally in the GOP agenda handbook at this point

Generally what I have found is that the baseline for liking ToaD is being stupid, and it's amazing how many walks of life stupid folks come from. Although I'm sure certain lyrics here cater to certain people.

Without a doubt. I’m sorry. I don’t mean to sound like an asshole but the common denominator here is dumb. You are a fucking dumbass if you unironically think this is good music. No one with a fuckin phd lying around is listening to literally Temu Nickelback.

And is there a trend with Canadian musicians (I use the word “musician” loosely) trying to appeal to flag flying patriotic idiots here? Tom Macdonald is hugely popular with right wingers but he specifically caters to them. This band and him are the only two I can think of, but I’m sure there’s more.
Like, it’s literally the “she doesn’t even go here” meme from Mean Girls

I listened to that Monster truck song and holy shit that was next level stuff. Like the worst Nickelback ripoff in history

My roommate had me nearly crying laughing when she played it over the bob the builder intro, it literally sounds like one of those kids songs

remember enjoying their first 3 albums, but I was a teen and haven't really gone back to them, they were a sort of budget nickelback in my head...
this review legit makes me curious to check them out but depending on how bad the songwriting actually is I might not get past first track
