I fail to see any greatness in this album. Quite the opposite.

This whole album is amazing. Though I think the highlight is the heavy part after the calm interlude in the middle of In The Wordless Chamber, just because of the contrast.

I have only seen the video for Empty and it was pretty cool.

Is this the next best album to go for after In the Nightside Eclipse and Anthems to the Welkin at Dusk?

Yeah, and only get IX Equilibrium if you're a huge Emperor fan.

Emperor still need to grow on me ive only heard Empty from this album, and well my first impressions were well, its a little bit confusing, all the sounds, nothing really mixes, its as if they threw bits and bobs and made a song, this really dosent work for me, i might get into it later with listens to other bands or their earlier stuff.

Empty is not a good song to base Emperor off of, nor is this album. Check In The Nightside Eclipse and Anthemns Of The Welkin At Dusk and see.

Still yet to hear this surprisingly. ATTWAD and ITNE are wonderful though.

I actually think i like this more than ITNE, though i'm probably the only one on the site that thinks that.

ITNE some of the strongest material ever by the band (Into the Infinity of Thoughts, I Am the Black Wizards, Inno A Satana) but the other songs just don't stick out to me as much, and i cant recall what most of them sound like off the top of my head (barring the 3 highlights)

Granted, i've listened to this twice....but it's impressive. I do prefer Anthems, however, as every song is a highlight on that album.

I'm so close to rating this a 5 right now...this album is soooo good. Maybe my favorite from Emperor even, it's a close call between this and Anthems, however.
