have not checked these guys since Phantom Anthem which moreso means i havent even listened to them too much since. feel like my new metalcore adjusted brain would appreciate this band more now. always loved how prog tinged they were, especially with Rescue/Restore

The cool part halfway through the last song is great. They need to do more stuff like that.
|
| |
huh, I really dug Death Below and my first listen of this I shrugged off. also kind of surprised to see Hawks in here hyping up ABR like that but after a 4.7 on LOG's latest I guess anything is possible
|
| |
been cranking some ABR lately, been a nice nostalgia trip. not sure how much I care about investigating these newer ones though.

Honestly
If this even comes close to the ass blasting energetic meathead approach Thrill Seeker and Messengers had I'll be so damn happy.
Love their whole discography but these days I've found myself reveling in the simplicity a little more

Great review Futures! I'm giving it a bit of time but I think this might actually beat Rescue & Restore as their best album to me.
|
| |
Agreed, sweet write up! I don't think I've listened to these guys since Messengers, but maybe now is the time.
