Good review. Ngl, I find this band incredibly boring. I've heard Fantastic Planet maybe 7 times over the decades and damn near every second of it sounds unremarkable to me.

Usually i'm a person that needs time with records before i make my mind for them. This is one of those cases that the returns are equally strong as the first impressions.
For me this is a record from three men that is defined by loss and defeat. It is etheral but also dynamic, dark yet forging a different path for them that it doesn't concern itself with anyones expections of how they should sound like. Yet i have a feeling that they, accidentally perhaps?, sabotaged themselves with the sequence of the album. As it is now, it kills any joy, so i toyed around a little bit and for me this is how it works better:
1 Crash Test delayed
2 Solid State
3 Halo and Grain
4 The air's on Fire
5 The Rising Skyline
6 Location Lost
7 Someday Soon
8 A Way Down
9 Moonlight Understants.
If anyone tries it, i would like to hear their thoughts.
