I hated Ambuletz...A Plague Upon You Hissing was excellent, though.

Very strong review you fanboy (And yes, I actually did read it, I didn't skim it you n00b).
Only thing that sticks out like a sore thumb at points are some mis-spelled words and stuff, but you'll pick those out eventually when you weed through this sucker.
I still can't get into these guys, but I'll give 'em another shot for old time's sake...

I think this is my least favourite TMV album, not to say that its bad. it's bloody fantastic, just a bit drawn out.

I pretty much agree with everything you've said about this album. 'Tetragrammaton' and 'Day of the Baphomets' are my favourites. That bass solo blows me away every time i hear it.

Champion review as well, summed it all up perfectly.

Great review. This album doesn't "speak to me" as much as FTM.This Message Edited On 09.09.06

Well...what? Anyway, it's just not as good. But that's basically a given.

To my ears, this is the same album as FTM. Pretty lousy release.
Kage, do you really think so? I find a very distinct feel compared to Frances the Mute; it really doesn't have anywhere near that same atmosphere or feel imo. Whatever floats your boat though.
I haven't listened to either album very much--I don't really like them much--but that's my first impression. It might be a little short-sighted, I suppose.

I know what you mean, though, I think what it comes down to is the personal vibe we get out of the music. There are some albums where I get completely different atmospheres from than most other people seem to, and that's what might set something apart whereas most people would think they sounded the same. This Message Edited On 09.10.06
