this is really fun, glad you covered this steve!
agreed hard with you nash. just a blast. to me sounds like a bit of kvelertak, megadeth and children of bodom. or maybe a more blackened version of the last hazzerd album (worth jamming). the soloing especially feels very megadeth. it's very soulful, love the ones of art of resurrection. whole album is just catchy as hell. first three are my favs, but also love the speed of blakk satanik and the closer caught me off guard with the cleans and how progressive it is.
main complaint is the vocals. they are good in themselves but are so high in the mix that they are a little choppy and distracting. but really awesome album. this is my kinda shit.

Thanks Futures! Megadeth is the one band that kept coming to mind with a lot of the guitar work for me too. Just so flashy and catchy while being technically impressive

glad you heard that megadeth influence as well! that is the most hard blend to pull off and this guy does it well. my favorite kind of guitar playing, flashy and techy but still emotional and catchy.
