Unironically, but in a good way. I unexpectedly really dig the low-key vibes of this one. It's a really tight, chill album that I wasn't prepared to enjoy as much as I do. I HATED Cure and I thought I would loathe this, but something about it works for me.

A sad part of being a modern prog metal fan is very often when you end up saying "You knowwwwww, the debut/first two albums were better than the rest" you aren't being a hipster asshole, it's just the truth.

this is a fantastic review man. really entertaining read. very casual, witty and conversational. reminds me of some of my own stuff. this is the kind of stuff i like to read.
