i listened to this recently. thought its very well executed for what theyre going for, but would like to see them push things further or evolve the style going forward. the best maiden and priest songs are where they are making things bigger/more epic or just super catchy ear worms, nothing here hit that level. they have this sound pretty much locked down but need to do something to make it theirs rather than just hero worship

I feel they have adopted the style very successfully but added their own unique flavor to it ... I don't really know how much more they can push the style before they leave the genre they are seemingly aiming for.. but alas to each his own
