Haven’t heard their EPs yet, but goddamn I love this. Nothing revolutionary, but still refreshing by 2020s standards. I dig how they blend their dreampop/nugaze sound with some 90s-style, more dynamic songs like She Said, He Said. Hurt Me and Tired also add to the variety. I get why they don’t appeal to many, but I found “ token punk riot grrl track sponsored by Disney” to be a bit harsh. Great review btw!

thank you sir =) but yeah "tired" is exactly the type of song that would be performed by a talent show tween girl band in early 2000's disney shows. It's sophomoric and amateurish in every sense of the word, but that's like just my opinion.

Maybe I just haven’t seem those Disney shows 8-)
Anyways, the placing of Tired on the album reminded me of how Chastity Belt put “The Thing” on their album Time to Go Home. It’s a bit out of place, towards the end of the track list, short, energetic, def amateurish, but fun.

This could have been a little better given how really good their EPs are, nothing bad or even mediocre, but not really memorable when compared to songs like Drain either.

If anyone has never listened to this band please go and check out their compilation albums See You In Heaven and Zodiac EPs (I have just updated them on the database here). Their past material is way better than this.
