The ride the lightning cover is proof that analog > digital. The production literally sucked all the life out of the song

Great review Atomic, and correct rating. Never occurred to me that Megadeth had double the releases than Metallica, damn

and 1/8th of the total sales. damn

1/8 of metallica's sales is actually surprisingly higher than I would've thought lol

I disagree. I don't think this is better than Youthanasia. Sorry.

I know ‘I don’t care” is shit but I can’t help but enjoy it. It’s the exact sort of nonsense Megadeth would’ve released back in the day.
Rest of the album is pretty stale and I wish they’d work with someone like Andy Sneap because the production here is so boring.

"I Don't Care" is a good song with awful lyrics.

I dont care, and I won't obey! 😈🖕🔥

it's a fun tongue in cheek throwback punk song which megadeth has always done. you can not like it but i guess i don't get the backlash if you are a megadeth fan.

I first thought it was an ok inclusion but he rly should’ve left it at The last note - which reminds me of Victory from youthanasia

i know megadeth are a band who provoke a lot of strong reactions, but i really dont get the 1s and people saying this is awful. i thought it was fine. nothing special, but not awful. instrumentally, its quite decent and gives you what you'd expect from a megadeth album. its just the songwriting is hammy (like most thrash and metal in general) and dave can't sing. guess different people put stock in different things tho
the RTL cover is awful though. the worst vocals on the album easily, and for a track where the original Metallica version really shows Hetfield's vocal power. Neat fan service but I don't see any value in it
