Clean vox or whispered/spoken parts are almost essential for me in melodic metal and this has both - in restraint. I’d be happy for their next one to incorporate more but they nailed the mix in this one imo

This isn’t as good as any of their previous releases unfortunately. The back half of the album makes up for the front half IMO. Thanks for the review.

@teamster it's better than Transcending Fire.



Definitely less immediate than their previous stuff but it has it's own unique quality. I was missing the in-your-face riffage at first but I find this easier to listen to all the way through than the others.
