This and Scary Muzak are really the only ones that I flat-out dislike.

Damn Pandoras Box is annoying. That inane humming note or whatever that is sucks.

This would have been better if it frankly didn't exist. Tarnishes Ulver's incredible record

I don’t think this is that offensive, just boring and unremarkable

Agreed with that.

It's not offensive per se, but it doesn't get a pass either, especially for a band defined by such curiosity and ingenuity settling into such a lame sweet spot over the past decade.

This really doesnt have the oomph that most of their LPs have. it feels more like an EP or compilation like Scary Musak, they just don't really give more time to let the songs grow organically.

I havent checked this but the last couple albums seemed like more of the same from them. Maybe garm has run out of material for electronic music and needs to go back to black metal now to finish off his career

I would never be opposed to that lol. He features some vocals on the new Mayhem so maybe that's a start.

I've had the displeasure of listening to this twice through, and it's worse than I previously thought

Idk guys I quite like this, it’s kinda all over the place, but I dig that for a project like this. There’s a lot of vibes here that work on me, I don’t know that lingering would help. I’d easily take this over Flowers. I really enjoyed Liminal too, at this stage I think this is weaker than that one, but it’s still compelling enough to bring me back.

Relistened again, still like it. Cool sounds, fantastic grooves. Hope they go more abstract and broad next time but I like how unambitious this is.
