This is an improvement from their latest album but the lack of standout riffs is still distracting. The atmosphere is excellent but I just kept thinking "when is it gonna riff hard?" most of the time and it felt like I waited way too long for it. And when they did riff hard the production got kinda messy. It's unfortunate because they would be a really good band if they just wrote more riffs. Guess they're too influenced by Opeth.
