Just tell me what is up, tell me what is up

I've almost had enough, you're playing with my love

Just tell me what is up, yes, really, what the fuck?

I may not be your man, but I would understand

I would understand

I may not be your man, but I would understand

Some really pathetic stuff here

I never got into tame impala but i just gave this a listen through to see what everyone's talking about and yeah, there are some laughably bad moments on it. The attempts at minimal techno/house are so, so bad. The rest just sounds like other tame impala stuff to me, and dracula sounds like it was written for dua lipa.

I loved Slow Rush but struggling to connect with this one.

I've recently appreciated Slow Rush more than at the time it came out. It's just a continuation of the sound on Currents, didn't break new ground but pleasant enough.

I can't see myself enjoying this at any point. I don't care if it's Tame Impala or any other artist.

Maybe Kevin thought he could replicate his Justice collabs, but he definitely doesn't have their chops

Kevin said the music is inspired by Bush Doof culture and the Aussie Rave scene.

It’s not so bad once you kinda grow into it. It’s just kinda shocking first listen

The album is not my cup of tea overall, but I have to admit My Old Ways is super-catchy, probably my favorite pop moment in 2025 thus far.

My Old Ways is indeed a pleasant track, but not much more than that

Things fall off the cliff very quickly with the track that follows after

He just said "ok... we have a very interesting sound and discography. Lets strip aaaaall that down to beats and some synths"

I'm just going to delete it from my library, not worth coming back to. Bye, Felicia.

Dracula is good and a good October song. Afterthought is good. End of Summer is a great song as well. But the rest of this is just really bad. I’ve been trying to grow into it because I love Tame Impala but it’s just an add those 3 songs and forget the rest kinda album.
