Closing track is also phenomenal. So excited to see another rock band of this caliber stamp their name into the NYC annals of music

I've only heard the first song but it's very Mars Volta sounding and some of the vocals are very Thom Yorke sounding. Really great stuff!

Like this a lot but don’t quite love it yet. Does feel there’s something singular here, though. At times Winter’s vocals remind me of later stage Young Jesus.

Yeah closing track is insanely good. I’m like this would be the best thing I’ve ever heard with anyone else singing it. The production and instrumentals are insane, especially in that song. Like I really want to love this so much more than I do. But I think it’ll have the Skinty Fia effect as I call it where I listen to it over and over and over and eventually love it. I thought Skinty Fia sounded amazing and was everything I love in music but I fucking loathed the vocals. And now I really like that album. So maybe same will happen here

Does feel like Cameron is playing along and not driving most of these songs which would be the biggest negative for me. The band is incredibly tight as always and does interesting things. It's rhythmically complex but not as dynamically interesting and there's just less hooky moments
