These chicks are amazing man. The more I listen to this and the album prior the more I love them. One of the best contemporary doom newcomers.
There is something about female vocals over a heavy slow doom riffing that is haunting as fuck. Love how these chicks are nailing that feeling.

What an album -- The production on here is fantastic, the mix as well. The harsher vocals are just as good as the cleans and they never "overuse" the harsher sound, they find a great balance. Plus, the sound fits the autumn weather perfectly. It's all grey, rainy days, falling leaves and a constant wind here. Can't get enough of this.

If you're talking about Messa's The Spin, they haven't got much in common imo. That album sounds like power pop in comparison to this, a massive disappointment for me after reading about all the hype.
