It's an impossibility to say really Dylan dude.
Early Mods is straight up lifted looped samples. The Who, Pistols, Wire, old soul tunes with Jason Williamson smashing out relevant, unshackled rants over the top. Absolutely sensational. Check The Mekon.
Then there's the mods that people are accustomed to which are a more honed, beat orientated affair but the rage is still there but it's more of a grower.
