The newer stuff borrows elements from melodic death metal and even industrial at times. It's still worth checking out though, even if it's not as good as their first three albums.

I like melodic death, so I'll definitely look into them.

You have a point. They mix elements of just about every sub-genre of metal[/quote] And it's amazing how well they do it all so damn well! This Message Edited On 09.05.06

Bodom Beach Terror is off Hate Crew Deathroll. That doesn't come around until 5 years after this. :p

If it was on this album then it should be. That's my favorite Bodom song.
So, is there anyone else in here who likes Red Light in my Eyes Pt. 2 better than Pt. 1? It should be.

You couldn't go wrong with either, me thinks.

You're right Mike, but I just love the frequent Mozart parts that they use in part 2. The one that rip from the "Confutatis" section is my favorite riff on the whole album.

Haven't heard this record. Love Hatebreeder and Follow the Reaper

Then you'll like this too.

i heard one song from it and it seems a lot more black metal. They are tuning D Flat on this one
|

Yeah this album has a really big black metal influence.
|

well it could be. Cool tuning C Standard. The only release i don't like by these is the last one they put out, Blooddrunk, but it was still pretty good, The self titled song was as good as anything off of Hate Crew.
