Yeah we can devise a silencer-like rumor of sorts that in order to record these vocals he was putting a hot iron rod down his dick hole in the booth

“ The man’s unique delivery and sound serve as both the foundation of the band’s success as well as the ceiling of which they will never break through.”
fucking perfectly said. There is so much here that you’d think I’d dig this band, but good god the vocals have just always been a non starter for me… and they’re worse here than ever imo
And goddamn these fucking lyrics holy shit

I hated the last album which actually got a reasonable (if polarising) reception around here, so I'm not going anywhere near this fucking trainwreck.
They played live very locally recently and I was half tempted to go just for a laugh and see those god-awful vocals in person, but I didn't want to accidently encourage them to come back again.

“This morning I brushed my teeth
And red filled up the sink
It made me think of us
And how we're both so lonely
I wanna make her feel
That deep guilt and pain
And I wanna make you fear
Developing your sense of self
-Esteem”
