^^^ There's a reason it took me 6 days to post the review, this album is densely layered. It's ultimately so rewarding once all the threads have been connected, though

The spoken word samples on this tend to come off as distracting to the overall experience of this project for me, but I'm still enjoying this a lot. These only really work for me in post-rock I guess.

Just think of this as post-rap. Which it is in many ways.

Cannot wait for him to release his book eventually. Also incredibly excited for the new Armand Hammer to drop this year

if they follow Doves direction for a full album we might be looking at a modern classic

I didn't even know he was writing a book. Would love to read his thoughts on literally anything.

Just looked it up and it looks like he's already published things.

“ if they follow Doves direction for a full album we might be looking at a modern classic”

I’ve seen a couple posts from The Alchemist referring to their album, so it’s either a second Armand Hammer x The Alchemist record, in which case it won’t be that direction at all, or he just has some production on their new record, but my gut is leaning towards the former. Would absolutely love them to do a project completely helmed by Kenny Segal, and I don’t think it’s out of the question to happen at some point
