It’s a really good reinvention I’m just being prickly… almost purposefully. The guy has an unbroken streak post (the not great) Liquorice but he’s delivered time and time again, since. Blessed Sputcore.

He's more or less entirely jettisoned deep house at this point, but this is maybe his most intricate albs to date and those beats aren't too badly missed. Great record

atari sighting, mission complete. I wouldn't say he's gotten rid of his deep house background, certainly not on this album at least. sugar and lemon, keys don't match, and pulsar 144 are definitely traditional deep house in structure
