Only time I've seen this done right is when Intronaut toured with Cloudkicker but actually provided instrumentals as a "touring group" for CK.

@wildcard as of now, yeah, they plan to continue with the tours as planned in his honor. Wouldn’t make much sense for everyone to hang it up, could be healing playing, might be “what he would have wanted”. Idk. People handle grief different.

After listening to this again, I wouldn't even call All the Light is Gone mid, it just sucks

I actually think Return to One is probably my favorite track here now. Armageddon Eyes is solid but kinda just feels like a rehash of the Heavener bonus tracks. Song 2 is an instant skip for me though

This is bad. I don’t like either of these vocalists so I’m not surprised

Seems like metal is prone to the same thing I see in the techno scene, a B2B between 2 good DJs never brings out the best of either. I like both these bands, but this sounds more like a compromise than a collaboration.

Even if this release isn't the best, still planning to see their joint tour coming up.

Not really a huge Silent Planet fan but I'll give their discog another listen and see if I like it anymore this time around
