Obviously a classic, great review.
The thing I like about this release and even darkthrone/burzum's stuff around this period as well is that you can listen to it at any volume and it has different effects for me, e.g. a headbanging ripfest or a hypnotic, meditative and rhythmic record. Suppose it can be all of those things too.
