Very on the fence with this after one listen. I kinda enjoyed it to a point but it also didn't grab me a whole lot and straight up bored me at times. Idk man, kinda disappointed.

at first i was like "hmm..." but the second listen really clicked for me. it's not as good as rest, but i still love it. it gets better as it goes too - tracks 4 and 5 are fantastic

Huh, yall are reading this way differently than I. To me the songs don’t lag at all and it’s the perfect pacing to combine everything they’ve done before plus some into an amazing record that encapsulates the band. Everything you could want from a 14-year comeback in my opinion.
I’ve been jamming their back catalog this past weekend and yeah, as much as I love Voices of Omens and even Rest this is a true culmination of a great band.
