Nah I definitely understand your criticism and will agree that the Halloween duology felt more cohesive. I do dig the "channel surfing" vibe on here which makes it feel more like a mixtape but get why that would be disappointing to some

Album is chill and fun even if it's not rly spoopy like the ones before it. Dominator, Change the Channel, Dodger, Keep Pushing, Mirrorshades, and Ask What Happened - especially Ask What Happened; easily one of their best.

I understand the criticism about his rapping... but boy do I love it, enjoying this so far

I'm very happy getting rid of the 'horrorcore' - it's reduced the cheese factor of quite an already cheesy proposition. It was too much cheese imo.
A bit of cheese with my clipping. is expected and even required, and this delivers a perfect serving of cheese.

Gonna jam this today. Not familiar with any of their stuff but been meaning to jam for a while now. Might as well start here!

This doesn't hit the same highs of the last two for me, but I really am enjoying this one
I'm sure it'll grow on me the more I listen

Hawks you've not even heard the song 'Body & Blood'? That was my intro to this band and I can only imagine that being the first clipping. song anyone tries.

Surprisingly never really checked these guys out as a huge hip hop fan

'Body & Blood' is such a wtf song for a band with quite a serious critical reputation, I'd love to see anyone's reaction to it going in cold, more so any normie music listener.
I don't dare play it to the wife, would be judged I fear.

Man it almost reminds me of a hip-hop version of Godflesh lol. So sick. Also really loving this so far.

I mean as a philistine I'd be happier if they just put the 7 or 8 biggest bangers in each recording session in a row and wrap it up in 35 minutes for each album, I'm not too bothered about the conceptual stuff with this band, but hey I can just make a mixtape.
This has some good changes of tone tunes like 'Keep Pushing' and 'Ask What Happened' though.

I mean I love a lot of longer albums from like 50-70 minutes but I agree that 35-40 minutes is the perfect length for most albums. Then again most early 2000s hip-hop albums I love are over an hour lol. Idk I guess it could depend on the genre now that I'm typing this lol.

For me this is perfect (31:34) and misses very little ('Scams' and 'Polaroids' are fine but just suck the energy out a bit):
1. Dominator [4.5 out of 5]
2. Run It [4]
3. Code [4]
4. Dodger [4.5]
5. Keep Pushing [4.5]
6. Mirrorshades [4.5]
7. Welcome Home Warrior [4]
8. Ask What Happened [4.5]
'Dodger' or 'Ask What Happened' might be a 5 rating down the line.
