But it does it so well

American trying to point to Arab country on world map -type beat
think I agree with dedex that the Arabian vibes on here mostly kill it and the more commonplace jazz fusion vibes are more take or leave, but it definitely comes through more often than not. will need more time

yeah muricans (2)… also maybe the Arabian vibes thing (where is dedex? / oh ppl still chk sound offs!)
The opening gambit is so striking and it does feel as tho much of this is trying to wrestle back some of the momentum lost in the middle somewhere, it slowly ebbs away the deeper you go
it’s still v nice especially in choice moments and does require further inspection

That’s a bit of a silly thing to say Johnny. It’s more a joke about film tropes than the actual music itself haha :]
Arabs are a culturally diverse group that span a prominent area of the Middle East but also share a lot of similarities for a reason. This album does a good job of bringing those eclectic influences together along with other genres

Hawks also compared this to Mabool, which honestly is also a pretty weird comparison
I lack the expertise to know whether the origins are similar yet Israel / Bahrain and my own ears (at least in their respective forms) would say, probably not

Its just the desert(ish) sounding vibes that sound similar. Both albums have smooth and warm feeling that remind me of each other. Has nothing to do with the countries of origin.

I'm sure Johnny will march in here with his khakis choking his ballsack and disagree though. All good.

Bad attitude? This album is amazing. I'd say I've had a pretty damn good attitude lmao.

famously hard to take an L from someone when you can't keep their name out of your resentful lil mouth
fuck right off with that 'good attitude' bs - you're the one who brought personal baggage into the thread, and we've all seen how thin your skin is when that treatment gets thrown back to you. either apologise for being a cowardly lying jackass, or do the rest of us a favour by swallowing those sour grapes and moving on. i'm more than ready to do just that

Truce Johnny like seriously lets just keep it about music. No more insults on either side. Its honestly getting exhausting. I just wanna enjoy music and not argue with people. I made a snide comment and I apologize. Time to move on.
